CHF – Open to public
here are many PPP units globally and very few are led by women. Lack of leadership and presence of women in public decision making roles have a direct impact on the design of public policy on PPPs and project implementation. Industry leaders are discussing inclusion of environment, social, governance (ESG) factors in PPPs; however, the discussion is dominated by male leadership.
In WAPPP, we stand for an equitable and balanced representation in the field of PPPs. In this context, WAPPP is committed to the achievement of the SDGs, specifically SDG 5 as an integral part of this commitment. Our network is composed of dynamic, smart and dedicated women from different backgrounds working hard to promote PPPs. They include Heads of PPP units from all parts of the world with a wealth of experience.
The upcoming webinar of « WAPPP Women in PPP Chapter » will focus on a number of questions related to Women leading PPP Units. The objective of this webinar is to have women leaders and high-level experts from the public sector, exchanging their views on how they lead PPPs, what are the challenges they face and how PPP is an engine to empower women?
We are looking forward to welcoming you to this open discussion.
